Forgotten Profits
Our options strategy focuses on trades with defined risk, looking to take advantage of situations where the market has gotten to extremes, either from a implied volatility, technical, or fundamental viewpoint. We employ both outright and spreads, depending on the anticipated magnitude of the move and current levels of implied volatility, and tend to be more counter-trend/mean reversion than breakout/momentum. Trading is all about probability, not certainty, and by seeking situations that have a perceived edge, we look to put the probabilities in our favor for a 10-12 day holding period.
