Opening Action: Tesla never tagged the central pivot, so the early “bonus trade” setup, which went from 344.54 to 348.39, never triggered. Instead, consolidation at the open signaled strength, and the move up through resistance gave traders a clear entry into the banded range.

Range Tests: Yesterday’s volume-by-price data showed heavy resistance in the mid-346s, making the second band (up to 349.37) the logical profit target. Tesla repeatedly tested this area throughout the morning, hitting targets and then reversing back down.

Current Outlook: After multiple failed attempts to push higher, Tesla has slipped back below resistance and appears likely to retest 345.17. A dip and reversal at 344.54 could set up another long, while sustained weakness would necessitate a redrawal of the downside map.

Trading Notes: Price action has been highly two-sided, with the bands acting bidirectionally—targets hit, reversals back through the range, and repeated tail tests signaling volatility. Best entries remain at the extremes of the bars rather than mid-range.
Bottom Line: Tesla is locked in range-bound action. Breakouts above 349.37 or below 344.54 will require pulling prior plans to map the next travel zones. Until then, it’s all about trading the edges and staying nimble.
