TSLA Squeeze Play: Trading the Compression
Tesla spent much of the late-morning session compressed between clearly defined volatility levels, creating what we call a Squeeze Play. With support repeatedly refreshing near $380.69 and the mean sitting around $381.16–$381.18, the setup favored quick, tightly managed long scalps inside the range rather than waiting for a larger breakout.
Bookmap confirmed the structure, showing liquidity repeatedly rebuilding beneath price and overhead order flow limiting each advance. The key was to trade the roadmap: enter near support, take the planned exit near the mean, and avoid second-guessing the trade if Tesla later moved farther. In slow, less-liquid conditions, disciplined execution, immediate risk control, and reliable order routing mattered more than trying to capture every last cent of the move.
